QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly has strongly condemned the untoward incident in the holy place of Madina. Lawmakers from treasury and opposition benches condemned the supporters of the former ruling party, Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) for chanting slogans in the holy place.
“This incident was against the stability of Pakistan”, Asghar Tareen, a member provincial assembly from Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) said. The session of the assembly began here with Qadir Nail, the chairman of the panel on Friday.
The house adopted a condemnation resolution against the untoward incident in the holy place. “This is unacceptable and the perpetrators should be brought to justice”, Mir Ziaullah Langove, the Balochistan Home Minister said.
Members from treasury and opposition benches lashed out at the former Prime Minister Imran Khan for promoting the politics of hatred and intolerance in the country. “Treason cases should be filed against the elements involved in chanting slogans in the holy place”, Asghar Tareen, the JUI lawmaker demanded. He said under a pre-planned conspiracy some elements manhandled Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti and Maryam Aurangzaib.
Asghar Khan Achakzai, the parliamentary leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) also condemned the incident and demanded stern action against the perpetrators of the incident.
The house expressed serious concern over the untoward incident in the holy place and termed it a conspiracy against Pakistan and Saudi Arabia relations.
