2 dead when vehicle of relative of federal minister Israr Tareen attacked

Armed men stormed inside a house and killed a woman in the Sariab Road area of Quetta on Saturday. Police sources said armed men opened fire on a house in the Saddam Phatak area of Sariab Road Quetta.

As a result of the firing, an 18-year-old woman was killed on the spot. The accused escaped unhurt from the spot. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Police shifted the dead body to civil hospital Quetta for postmortem.

No arrest was made in connection with the murder of the woman. The reason behind the killing could not be immediately ascertained.

Dead body found: Police also found a dead body in the Sariab Mill area of Quetta. Police sources said the victim was tortured to death in the Sariab Mill area of the city. Police informed the man was identified as Abdul Ghani S/O Abdul Rasool. The dead body was also shifted to civil hospital Quetta.
