Armed men opened fire and killed a senior leader of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Mama Noor Ahmed Bangulzai in Mastung on Saturday.
Police sources said armed men opened fire on Mama Bangulzai outside district headquarters hospital in Mastung bazar.
He was seriously injured and succumbed to injuries on the spot. The attackers fled away unhurt from the spot.
Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
