ISLAMABAD: The federal government appointed Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, a senior police officer as the Inspector General of Police Balochistan on Tuesday. Mr. Sheikh’s predecessor, Mohsin Hassan Butt was directed to report to the establishment division.

Mr. Sheikh was currently serving in the Intelligence Bureau (IB). Mr. Sheikh is a police officer in grade-21.

The establishment division issued a notification in this regard.
