A blast rocked the Kech Kor bridge area of Balochistan’s Kech district on Thursday. Levies sources said the miscreants were trying to target the vehicle of security forces in the area. However, there was no human loss as a result of the blast.
Security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area. None was allowed to cross the area. The blast was heard and far wide causing panic. Security was tightened in and around Trubat in the aftermath of the blast, which rocked the entire area.
Terror bid foils in Khuzdar
Police and levies foiled a major terrorism bid in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district by defusing a 20kilogram heavy bomb. Terrorists had planted a bomb in a motorcycle parked on the roadside on national highway. Assistant Commissinoer Wadh, Muhammad Iqbal Khoso and other officials reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
Bomb disposal squad personnel reached the spot and successfully defused the bomb.
