Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club against increasing petroleum prices and inflation in the country. Flags-waving supporters of the former ruling party gathered outside the press club on Friday and chanted slogans against the present government for increasing the prices of petroleum products.
“Imported government least bothered about the plight of the masses”, Munir Baloch, the Secretary-General PTI Balochistan told party supporters. The supporters of the former prime minister, Imran Khan strongly criticized the present government for what they called its anti-masses policies. PTI leaders Abdul Bari Bareech, Muhammad Asif Tareen and others were also present on the occasion.

Rulers are concerned about their assets abroad and are least bothered about the financial difficulties of the masses, Mr. Baloch stated. He said present rulers were making properties in London and Switzerland at the cost of the stability of the country.
The PTI leaders said if the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders brought their assets back, then, there would be a reduction in the ratio of poverty and unemployment.
Munir Baloch warned of intensifying the protest movement against the present government for inflation and increasing petroleum prices. The administration had taken strict security measures to avert any untoward incident on the eve of the protest staged by the former ruling party’s supporters.
