A woman was killed during an exchange of fire between two armed groups in Balochistan’s Harnai district on Monday. Levies sources said armed took a place in the Pir Shair area of Harnai district.
Intense firing was reported between the two groups over an old tribal dispute in the area, Levies said. The firing left a woman dead on the spot. The dead body of the woman was shifted to district headquarters hospital Harnai.
Tribal elders and religious scholars reached the area and convinced the two warring groups to end the exchange of fire. A huge contingent of levies also reached the spot to avert another untoward incident in the aftermath of the killing of a woman.
The situation was tense in the aftermath of the killing of a woman in the Harnai district.
