QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has awarded the portfolio of the finance department to Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, a lawmaker from the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Thursday. Sardar Khetran had already a portfolio in the communication and works department.
The CM had earlier given the portfolio of the finance department to Noor Muhammad Dumar, the senior minister Balochistan government. Sources within the CM Secretariat said this decision has annoyed Mr. Dumar.
They also predict another reshuffle in the Balochistan cabinet in the coming days. The province is all set to present its financial budget for the year 2022-23 on June 20. The acting Governor Balochistan, Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali convened the session of the assembly on June 20th regarding the provincial budget.
