QUETTA: Renowned Pashto poet and author professor Sial Kakar breathed his last on Saturday morning. He died because of protracted illness.
He was 88.

Professor Sial Kakar was the author of dozens of books regarding Pashto poetry, literature, history and culture.

In presence of a large number of people, Professor Kakar was laid to rest in his ancestral village Saranan.
People belonging to various walks of life have expressed grief and sorrows over the demise of Sial Kakar.
