KHARAN: A Levies official was killed in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Kharan district on Tuesday. Police sources said unknown accused opened fire near Syed Haidar Shah Mosque in Kharan. As a result of the firing, levies official Abdul Rehman was killed on the spot.
The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot. Police and rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the dead body to the Kharan district headquarters hospital. The reason behind the killing could not be immediately ascertained.
