Former Balochistan Minister Ghafoor Lehri booked in a murder case

QUETTA: Former Balochistan Minister, Mir Ghafoor Lehri was nominated in a murder case of a tribal elder in the Naseerabad district on Thursday. Police nominated the former minister in the murder of tribal elder Mir Talal Khan. A total of five accused were nominated in the murder of the tribal elder including the former minister, police sources said.

FIR was lodged on an application submitted by the brother of Mir Talal Khan. The brother of the deceased lodged the FIR at Saddar Police Station Dera Murad Jamali. Talal Khan Manjho was killed in a firing incident a few days back.

Mr. Lehri remained a provincial minister in the cabinet of late Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Muhammad Yousaf. Ghafoor Lehri is also the brother of serving Balochistan Minister for Irrigation, Muhammad Khan Lehri.
