KHARAN: Armed accused opened fire and killed the former Station House Officer (SHO) Police Kharan, Eid Muhammad Muhammad Hassani on Friday morning. Police sources said the armed accused opened fire on SHO Eid Muhammad Muhammad Hassani in Kharan Bazar.

The officer breathed his last on the spot. Rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the former SHO to the district headquarters hospital Kharan. Police also reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.

The assailants fled away from the spot after the attack. Police sources said the former SHO was currently serving as the head of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) district Kharan. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

2 dead bodies were found in Khuzdar 

Police found two dead bodies in Khuzdar’s Zaidi area on Friday. The dead include a man and a woman. Police shifted the dead bodies to the district headquarters hospital Khuzdar. Police reached the spot of the incident and started an investigation into the incident.

One person was killed in Quetta

In Quetta’s Nawan Killi Quetta area, an armed accused opened fire and killed one person and injured another one. Police were quick at the spot and arrested one accused in connection with the killing of a person. The dead body of the victim has rushed to civil hospital Quetta.
