QUETTA: Police recovered two missing girls from Darul Aman Quetta on Friday morning. One woman is still at large. “Police and social welfare department’s team successfully recovered two missing girls”, Abdul Latif Kakar, the Secretary of Social Welfare Balochistan said.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo had also taken notice of the missing of three women from Darul Aman Quetta. He had directed the authorities to ensure the recovery of the missing girls and a woman.
Three women had gone missing from Darul Aman Quetta the other day. Secretary Social Welfare had formed a three members inquiry committee to investigate the incident. The committee comprises Muhammad Hassanullah, the Director-General of Social Welfare Balochistan, Juma Khan Durrani, the Principal Balochistan Disabled Complex Education, and Miss Farghana Rubbi, the Directorate of Human Rights Balochistan.
“Efforts on to recover the remaining missing woman”
“Efforts are on to apprehend the remaining missing woman”, Mr. Kakar said. The department has also submitted a preliminary report before the Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili.
The Quetta Darul Aman hosts over 30 inmates. Most of the inmates are widows, and orphans belonging to Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. “Our main objective is to make them useful citizens of the society”, the Secretary said.
