Quetta: The medical report confirmed the 17 years old girl was raped in Quetta’s Samungli area the other day. Saddar Police Station has already lodged First Information Report (FIR) against the accused identified as Samiullah alias Janan, a resident of Nawa Killi area of Quetta.
Police sources said the accused had established friendship with the girl through mobile phone a week ago.
“The accused subjected me to sexual abuse in his vehicle on Samungli road”, the Police said while quoting the initial statement of the victim girl.
Quetta Police had sent the girl for a medical checkup to Civil Hospital Quetta. The medical report from the hospital confirmed sexual abuse. “We are conducting raids to arrest the accused”, Abdul Haq Umrani, the senior superintendent of Police Quetta told Daily Quetta Voice.
Hopefully, the accused would be apprehended very soon, Mr. Umrani said. The Police lodged FIR on an application submitted by the victim.
According to Police sources the incident happened on 14 July on Samungli Road. It may be mentioned here that the accused had convinced the girl through mobile phone to meet him at Samungli road Park. When the girl came, the accused raped her, police concluded.
