UNODC trains 30 Balochistan Levies investigation officers

QUETTA: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) imparted training skills to 30 investigation officers of Balochistan Levies Officers. This was the first program by the UNODC and Balochistan government to improve the capacity of investigation officers.

The Director-General Balochistan Levies, Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani distributed certificates among the officers who completed the training program. “The government is committed to enhancing the investigation skills of officers”, Mr. Pirkani said.

Balochistan Levies force has administrative control of more than 90 percent area of the province. The present government in collaboration with the UNODC has decided to improve the investigation and administrative skills of the levies officers.
