QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested two accused involved in the killing of passengers in Balochistan’s Mastung district. Armed accused had killed 20 bus passengers in Khad Kocha area of district Mastung on May 29th, 2015.

The two accused identified as Bahawal Khan and Rahim Bukhsh have confessed to the killing of passengers, the Spokesman of CTD said on Friday. The accused has also confessed to a series of terrorist activities including blowing up gas pipelines, and railway tracks and targeted killings in Balochistan, the Spokesman informed.

CTD personnel conducted a raid in Shireen Ab area of Mastung and picked up the two terorists, the Spokesman mentioned. Security personnel shifted the arrested accused to Quetta for interrogation. “The arrested terrorists are associated with an outlawed militant group”, he added.

CTD and other law enforcement agencies have intensified their raids against the elements involved in targeted killings, bomb explosions and other subversive activities in Balochistan.
