Wheat shortage in Balochistan

Punjab Govt to provide 0.65Million tons of wheat to Balochistan

The Punjab government is going to provide 0.65 million tons of wheat to Balochistan. The Punjab govt will provide this wheat for the flood relief to the resource-rich province of Pakistan. The decision was taken when Engr. Zamrak Achakzai, the Provincial Food Minister Balochistan was called on Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, the Chief Minister of Punjab yesterday.

There is no doubt Balochistan suffered the most in recent flash floods, CM punjab stated. All the International organizations and Federal Govt should provide relief to Balochistan for compensation of the massive destruction caused by Torrential rains, he added.

Balochistan government had requested Punjab province to provide it with wheat inorder to compensate the ongoing wheat crisis in the province.

As elder province Punjab has always supported Balochistan and is ready to provide 0.65 Million tons of wheat to Balochistan to end up the ongoing wheat crisis in the crisis, Ch. Pervaiz Elahi said.

We are thankful to Punjab for this support in hard times and will use our machinery to do timely supply of wheat to Balochistan, Engr. Zamarak Achakzai said while thanking the CM Punjab.
