Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) MDCAT 2022 is likely to be conducted in the mid of November. Today, a high-level meeting regarding MDCAT was held between President PMC Dr. Noshad A.Shaikh and Health Minister Sindh Dr. Azra Pechuho.
Health Minister Sindh appreciated the efforts of the PMC in conducting provincial MDCATs throughout Pakistan and acknowledged the new governing body of the commission.
Dr. Azra Pechuho had requested the PMC and respective provinces to delay the test for some more time till the mid of November.
This proposal has been made for better preparation of MDCAT by aspirants. PMC has given hint about the new date of the Medical and Dental Colleges Entrance Test (MDCAT) 2022 in Pakistan i.e, in the middle of November.
Provincial MDCATs and Conducting Bodies:
The MDCAT Exam 2022 will be Conducted province wise on a single day.
Conducting bodies in Different province’s include;
Punjab— UHS
Sindh— NTS/JSMU/IBA
Balochistan—NTS/BUHMS
KPK— ETEA
Fedral/ICT— FEDERAL
PMC vs PMDC:
A few weeks ago the senate standing committee for Health passed the PMDC 2022 making it difficult for PMC to continue its work. Two weeks ago the PM office and Health committee notified the new council members of PMC.
Syllabus and Books for MDCAT 2022:
The Syllabus for MDCAT 2022 will remain same as present on PMC website. As, this year the test will be taken on provincial basis so the aspirants are advised to study Federal board books and their respective provincial books.
