QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo called on former CM Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday. Mr. Bizenjo discussed the prevailing political situation with the former CM during the meeting, an official handout issued from CM Secretariat said.

Former Balochistan ministers Saleem Khoso, Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani and Prince Ahmed Ali Ahmedzai were also present on the occasion.

The two leaders also discussed the issues relating to the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and discussed ways and means to strengthen the party. The development package for Quetta was also discussed.

CM Bizenjo informed Jam Kamal Khan that relief activities were expedited in the flood-hit Lasbela and other districts of the province. This meeting has come after unfolding political events in Balochistan and the prevailing deadlock between the CM and Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam  (JUI) on the distribution of portfolios.

The religious party has decided to be part of the coalition government and handed over its charter of demand to the CM. Despite three meetings, the CM and JUI are yet to reach a consensus.
