Maulana Fazal and Sardar Mengal discuss Balochistan political situation

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazal ur Rehman and Balochistan National Party (BNP) Chief, Sardar Akhtar Mengal have discussed the prevailing political situation in Balochistan. The two leaders met in Islamabad to discuss the possible joining of the coalition government in Balochistan.

The Maulana visited the residence of Sardar Akhtar Mengal in Islamabad to discuss the political situation in Balcohistan.

This development has come a week after the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) announced to formally join the treasury benches and held three meetings with Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo in Islamabad and  Quetta.

“The two leaders discussed whether to join or not join the coalition government in Balochistan”, an insider of the meeting told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone. No decision has been made in this regard so far, he mentioned, giving no other details.

Conflicting reports about the joining of the coalition government by the two key opposition parties emerged on Thursday. However, no formal announcement has been made by either side so far.
