Muhammad Mudasir :

QUETTA: In this modern era, mobile phones have become 4th basic need of humans begins. people are using mobile phones for communication, education, entertainment, and many more.

In recent years we saw the government of Pakistan and PTA(Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) impose heavy taxes on mobile phones.
In September, iPhone 14 was launched globally at 1000 USD dollar. when we calculate 1000 USD dollars to PAK, the rupee is 221098.70(today’s price). but PTA(Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) imposed almost 1.5 to 1.7 lac tax on this mobile phone and Obtaining a new iPhone 14 may now cost you more than 5 lacs.

At this time when the government and PTA imposed taxes on mobile phones. people are looking for other options like NON-PTA-mobile phones, LLA phones, and dotted mobile.

NON-PTA-mobile phones are much cheaper than PTA-proven mobile phones. people buy NON-PTA-mobile phones for “gaming, camera, etc” at lesser prices.

According to mobile phone shop owners, there are two major factors of “why mobile phone prices are increasing”. dollar prices, and a massive levy on the import of mobile phones.

Mobile phone is one the most important devices for education. in this modern era, students used mobile phones for educational purposes and students find solutions with the help of a mobile phone. The government should reduce the taxes on mobile phones because it benefits both the government as well as people.
