At least four people were injured in a blast on Quetta’s Sariab Road on Saturday. Police sources the blast rocked the entire Sariab road area. People of the area and police shifted the injured to the trauma center civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

An emergency was imposed in the hospital to provide medical treatment to the injured by the blast. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade, which exploded near the security forces’ check post.

“Four injured of the blast brought to the hospital”, Dr. Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Civil Hospital Quetta said.

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove strongly condemned the blast and directed the police to submit a report in this regard. In a statement issued a short while ago, the Minister stated that the perpetrators of the blast would be brought to book.
