A policeman was martyred in a hand grenade attack in Balochistan’s Kachhi district on Wednesday. Police sources said armed accused attacked the Dhadar police station and one policeman was martyred.
Police sources said the martyred policeman was a resident of Bhag city. The attackers fled from the spot after the attack. Police also retaliated the fire and the armed accused managed to escape unhurt from the spot.
A huge contingent of police reached the Dhadar police station and launched a search operation to apprehend the culprits behind the attack. However, no arrest was made in connection with the attack on the police station.
The dead body of the martyred policeman was shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Kachhi. The dead body was handed over to the heirs after the completion of necessary official procedures. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
