Quetta administration demolished encroachments in the Mian Ghundi area on Saturday evening. According to an official handout issued here, the administration launched the anti-encroachment drive on the instructions of the chief secretary of Balochistan.

Some members of the land mafia had occupied the land of the Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department in the Mian Ghundi area of Quetta. The administration demolished all concrete walls constructed by the land mafia. “Encroachments demolished in Mian Ghundi area”, Shahak Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Quetta said. He said none would be allowed to occupy government land in any part of the provincial capital.

Legal action would be taken against the accused involved in the occupation of the government land.
