Zia Langove distorts facts about Balochistan: Agha Hassan Baloch

Staff Reporter:

QUETTA: Federal Minister for Science and Technology and the Central leader of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), Agha Hassan Baloch on Wednesday said that home minister Mir Ziaullah Langove distorted facts about Balochistan. Addressing a press conference, he said the minister was completely unaware of the situation in Balochistan.

This reaction on behalf of the BNP has come a day after the home minister asked the BNP Mengal to stop propaganda against security forces.

“We cannot close our eyes on issues relating to Balochistan”, Agha Hassan Baloch said. He said such statements of the rulers have further complicated issues in the province. Malik Naseer Shahwani, the parliamentary leader of BNP in the Balochistan Assembly, Musa Baloch, and others were also present on the occasion.

He said the BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal has always spoken about the issue of missing persons. He said the party is part of the federal government but it never meant that the party would compromise over Balochistan issues.

The federal minister informed that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had empowered Sardar Akhtar Mengal to be part of the committee with regard to the issues of students in Islamabad. “Zia Langove should avoid such irresponsible language about Sardar Akhtar Mengal”, he cautioned.
