QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo on Friday said his government has approved appointments for more than 800 vacancies in the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). He expressed these views while distributing reinstatement orders among over 300 employees of the Communication and Works (C&W) department in Balochistan at the CM Secretariat.

Provincial ministers, senior officers, and C&W employees were also present on the occasion. “This government realizes the difficulties of unemployed youth”, Mr. Bizenjo said. He said the government has fulfilled its long-standing promise of reinstating the sacked employees of the C&W department.

 

Islamabad should ensure implementation of Balochistan job quota: CM Bizenjo

CM Balochistan stated that the present government has also approved appointments on more than 800 posts in the S&GAD department to provide jobs to the jobless youth of the province. He urged the federal government to make sure of the implementation of Balochistan’s quota in the federal departments.

Regarding the government’s initiatives, Mr. Bizenjo stated that the government has increased the volume of funds for the endowment fund to support needy and deserving patients in Balochistan. He said health card was issued to facilitate the needy and deserving families across the province. He informed that 1.8 million families across Balochistan would be benefited from this scheme.

Government aware about the difficulties of people of bordering areas: CM

Under the health card scheme, the Balochistan government has announced the provision of Rs. 1 million to each family in Balochistan. About the multi-dollar gold and copper project of Reko Diq, CM Bizenjo reiterated that a historic deal was signed with the company after thorough consultations with politicians and lawmakers both from the opposition and treasury benches.

Quddus Bizenjo stated that practical steps were adopted to address the grievances of people living on borders with Iran and Afghanistan. He said various projects were also launched to support the people living in the bordering areas.

“We are aware of the difficulties of the people living on borders with Afghanistan and Iran”, Mr. Bizenjo mentioned.
