A court in Quetta acquitted an accused involved in the murder of three brothers after the parents forgave him under the Qisas and Diyat law. In late September this year, the accused Qais Khan was arrested by police soon after the murder of three young men. The accused confessed to killing his three brothers on a small domestic issue, the police said.

Three young brothers identified as Zaryal Khan, Zarang Khan, and Saidal Khan were killed in a firing incident in Quetta’s Railway Society. The victims were sons of well-known medical professional Dr. Nasir Ashezai.
The broken parents of three young men murdered by their own brother appeared before the court and forgave the fourth son, court sources told Daily Quetta Voice. The accused was produced before the session judge in Quetta.

The accused was released from Quetta jail after the court judgment, an official of the prisons department told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone. Family members came and they took the accused Qais Khan along with them, he informed.
