QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo on Sunday said that maintaining the law and order situation was the core responsibility of the deputy commissioners in the province.

The Chief Minister stated that CM’s complaint cells would be established on the district level and these cells would be linked with the main complaint cell at the CM Secretariat. “This will ensure timely redressal of peoples’ issues”, Mr. Bizenjo stated.

He expressed these views while talking to the deputy commissioner Awaran Captain (R) Jumadad Mandokhail at the CM’s Secretariat.

DCs should visit far flung areas instead of sitting in their offices: CM Bizenjo

“DCs should ensure visiting all areas and avoid only sitting in their offices”, Mr. Bizenjo stated. He directed all deputy commissioners to take all stakeholders on board while evolving a strategy to ensure durable peace in their respective districts. DC Awaran briefed the CM about the ongoing development projects in the district.

He urged the DCs to make sure timely and quality completion of all projects underway across Balochistan. He said billions of rupees were allocated for the communication system to improve the movement of people and address their grievances.

CM Bizenjo stated that the bureaucracy and political leaders were making hectic efforts to address the issues of people on priority basis. He stated that all-out efforts would be made to support the down-trodden class of society and ensure timely support to them.
