KHARAN: At least one levies man was killed and another injured when miscreants attacked a levies check post in the Kharan district of Balochistan on Tuesday morning. Levies sources said miscreants attacked the check post in the hours of Tuesday in the Yek Much area of Kharan.
There was an exchange of fire between levies personnel and miscreants. The miscreants also suffered casualties, Levies sources said. However, one levies personnel was killed and another sustained injuries in the attack. The dead body of the levies personnel and the injured levies man were rushed to the district headquarters hospital Kharan.
A huge contingent of levies reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. It may be mentioned here that armed miscreants had also snatched weapons from levies personnel a few days back.
