At least two security personnel were injured in a hand grenade attack in Balochistan’s Khuzdar city on Wednesday. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at security forces near Abbas Market Khuzdar. As a result of the attack, two security personnel were injured.
The injured security personnel were rushed to the district headquarters hospital Khuzdar for medical treatment. The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.
Police personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. Security was tightened in and around Khuzdar city in the aftermath of the hand grenade attack. This incident has come two days after over a dozen people were injured in two coordinated blasts at Omar Farooq Chowk Khuzdar.
