QUETTA: Gas leakage killed six members of a family including a father and five children in the Muslim Colony area of Quetta on Sunday morning. Police sources said the family was sleeping when their room was filled with gas after the leakage. All six family members including the father of the children Sharafuddin Bareech 40-year died inside the room.
The dead bodies of the victims were brought to the civil hospital Quetta. A large number of people of the area reached the spot after the incident. The news of the gas leakage blast was widely shared by people on social media with people belonging to various walks of life. People lashed out at the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) for what they claim was the company’s failure to create awareness among the masses about gas leakage and blast incidents.
