A security personnel was killed in a firing incident in Quetta’s Samungli road area on Thursday morning. Police sources said armed motorcyclists opened fire and killed the security personnel on the spot.
The attackers fled away from the spot after the attack. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Police said the incident appears to be an act of targeted killing. Balochistan Home Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langove strongly condemned the incident and directed the police to submit a report in this regard. In a statement issued here on Thursday, Mr. Langove said the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
