A police assistant sub-inspector was martyred in a firing incident in the Dukki district of Balochistan on Monday. Syed Saboor Agha, the District Police Officer Dukki said the armed accused opened fire and martyred a police ASI Muhammad Saleem in Dukki. He said policemen retaliated and the attackers escaped from the spot. “This seems to be a robbery incident”, Mr. Agha informed. He said the alleged robbers also left solar energy plates and their pistol
“We are investigating the incident”, the DPO said. Senior police officers and a huge contingent of the police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
