A coal miner dies as mine collapsed in Wadh Balochistan

A coal miner died when a mine collapsed in the Dakhala area of Wadh on Wednesday. According to the Levies’ sources, the dead body has been retrieved from the mine and was identified as Abdul Jalil Baranzai. The coal miner was working deep in the mine when the incident occurred.

The dead body was shifted to a nearby hospital. After the necessary official procedures, the hospital authorities handed over the bead body to the heir of the victim.

Mines incidents claim scores of precious human lives in Balochistan

Similar incidents have claimed many precious lives of coal miners in Balochistan. The Chief Minister of Balochistan and other provincial officials have taken notice of the incidents with coal miners but still, no action has been carried out.

Heirs of the victims have continuously claimed that they are deprived of justice and no action is taken against the coal mine owners for their negligence in adopting precautionary measures for the mine laborers. ” We are not provided with the types of equipment to detect the presence of a poisonous gas inside the mine”, A coal miner Zanjir Gul claimed.
