IG Police Balochistan suspends 86 police officials

The Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh suspended 68 police officials for negligence and not implementing his orders.

The suspended officials include 5 station house officers (SHOs), 48 sub-inspectors, a CIA in-charge, and 2 assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) in Balochistan, sources in the central police official said.

Suspended officials belong to Zhob, Quetta, Sibi range

The officials were suspended by the Balochistan police chief for their failure to implement his orders and for showing negligence in performing their duties in the province. The officials belonging to Zhob, Quetta, Sibi, Pishin, and other police ranges of Balochistan.

The officials have been placed under suspension after the approval of the competent authority, a notification issued by the Balochistan central office said. A copy of the suspension order was obtained by the Daily Quetta Voice.

Suspended officials had failed to discharge their duties in a responsible way

Balochistan Police Chief, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh has launched an action against the officials for showing negligence in discharging their duties. Competent and honest officers would be encouraged and promoted by the department, Mr Sheikh said while talking to police officials.

The officials were handed over their suspension orders by the central police officer. The officials were suspended in the aftermath of repeated issuance of show cause notices to them by the central police office.
