Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) staged a protest demonstration in Quetta against a police raid at the residence of former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday. A large number of PTI supporters gathered at the main Koila Phatak and blocked the main road.

“Our protest is against the police raid at the residence of Imran Khan”, Noor Khan Khilji, a provincial leader of the party told Daily Quetta Voice. He said the rulers were frightened of the popularity and support of the former prime minister.

The angry protesters burnt tires to vent their anger. Long queues of vehicles were witnessed on the road because of the blockade of the road by the PTI supporters.
