PPP Naseerabad calls for disqualification of Imran Khan

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) called for the disqualification of the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan. The party took out a protest rally from Umrani house and it turned into a protest meeting at the main Dera Murad Jamali Chowk.

Central leader of the party and former provincial minister, Mir Sadiq Umrani, Bilal Umrani and others addressed the flags-waving supporters of the PPP. They chanted full-throated slogans against the PTI Chief and demanded an immediate disqualification of the latter. The protesters were carrying placards inscribed with slogans against the PTI Chief.

PTI Chief launched a malicious campaign against state institutions: Sadiq Umrani

“We want an immediate arrest and disqualification of Imran Khan”, Mir Sadiq Umrani, the PPP leader demanded. He said the PTI Chief has launched a malicious campaign against State institutions and playing with the stability of the country.

The speakers lashed out at the PTI Chief and called for an end to what they called the malicious campaign against the state institutions. “No compromise over the stability of the country”, Mir Bilal Umrani, the leader of the party said.

Why Imran Khan reluctant to surrender before police ?

The speakers said that the PTI leader was reluctant to ensure a peaceful arrest and rather he was trying to escape from the police and make the innocent party workers a scapegoat. “Without any delay, Imran Khan should be arrested as early as possible”, Mir Sadiq Umrani said.

Strict measures were adopted to maintain law and order on the eve of the rally

Strict security measures were adopted by the administration on the eve of the protest rally by the PPP against the former ruling party and the former prime minister. Policemen were deployed at Dera Murad Jamali, the headquarter of the Naseerabad district to avert any untoward incident on the eve of the protest.
