The Balochistan government on Wednesday posted Waqas Ali Mahmood, a grade-21 officer as the secretary of health Balochistan. Saleh Nasar the outgoing secretary was posted as the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) said. Zahid Saleem was directed to report to the S&GAD.
Mr. Mahmood has served as Commissioner Gujranwala, Secretary of Education Punjab, and Secretary of Excise and Taxation Punjab. He is considered to be one of the senior officers in the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).
Muhammad Akbar Harifal, a grade-21 officer was posted as the Secretary of Industries Balochistan, whereas, Zafar Ali Bukhari was posted as the Secretary of Excise and Taxation, the notification concluded.
