The first anti-riot women’s unit was established in Balochistan to play an important role in maintaining the law and order situation in the province. The Balochistan Police Chief, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, and other high police officers witnessed the demonstration of the newly passed women cadets. They appreciated the women cadets for their role in the police department and for maintaining the law and order situation in the province.

“It is a matter of immense pleasure for Balochistan and Pakistan”, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, the IG Police Balochistan stated.

40 women trained in first phase

According to the Balochistan Police Spokesman, Balochistan Police’s first anti-right women unit passed out a parade, and 40 trained women cadets have been added to the anti-right women wing consisting of ladies constables.

Special training has been given to deal with the Establishment of women’s anti-right wing is one of the modern military requirements, women personnel are also equipped with anti-right equipment and tools, and there is no precedent of such a special unit in Pakistan.

According to the Police Spokesman, this unit has been initially established in Quetta Police, later its scope will be taken to the level of division and then every district of Balochistan.
