Levies force Kohlu has been helping elderly and differently-abled people during ration distribution. Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili took to the social media network Twitter and shared images of levies personnel helping aged people.
The CS appreciated the performance of levies force Kohlu and remarked that the force is second to one in terms of performing their professional duties.
Balochistan government announces special Ramazan package
The Balochistan government has announced a special package of providing ration to 1,00,000 deserving and needy families across the province in the sacred month of Ramazan ul Mubarak.
It was very difficult for the provincial food department and the provincial disaster management authority (PDMA) to ensure the distribution of rations because of crowds approaching the distribution points. Therefore, levies personnel have been deployed at all distribution points to make sure uninterrupted distribution of flour and other commodities among deserving and needy families.
Levies maintains order in more than 90 percent area of Balochistan
Balochistan’s levies force has always been at the forefront to assist people during floods and other natural disasters. The force is responsible for maintaining law and order in more than 90 percent area of the province, the country’s areawise largest province.
