Unknown accused opened fire at a levies check post and killed a levies officer in the Zehri area of Khuzdar district. Levies source miscreants attacked the levies check post in Zehri and killed levies officer Nisar Ahmed Zarakzai.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. The dead body of the levies officer was shifted to a nearby hospital. Levies reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
The deceased was the brother of the personal secretary of the former chief minister of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
