Police in Balochistan launched a crackdown against the Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) workers and leaders in various parts of the province. Police sources said 11 key leaders of the former ruling party have been arrested in Quetta. They have been shifted to various police stations,

Cellular networks remain suspended in Quetta and other parts of Pakistan. Most of the PTI workers have gone into hiding. Security has been tightened in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan in the aftermath of violent clashes between the supporters of former prime minister Imran Khan and police in Quetta.
