A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane narrowly escaped an accident at the Quetta Airport when a truck suddenly came on the runway during take-off. According to airport sources, the plane was going from Quetta to Islamabad, the pilot stopped the plane under the emergency system.

About 200 passengers were on board in the plane, who were safe. Sources further said that this incident happened due to negligence of air traffic control.

Spokesman PIA contradicts media reports about an emergency landing

The report of a truck coming on the runway is not true, on the other hand, PIA spokesman says that the report of a truck coming on the runway in front of the plane at Quetta Airport is not true. In a statement, the spokesman said that there are difficulties in the take-off of the plane due to strong winds at Quetta Airport.

The spokesman further said that the pilot stopped the plane on the runway of Quetta Airport, the engineers inspected the plane, the work of changing the tires is going on. According to the spokesman, there was no technical fault in the plane at Quetta Airport.
