Secretary Information and Broadcasting and Managing Director of PTV, Sohail Ali Khan has said Radio Pakistan is an effective and powerful medium to reach masses even in the far-flung areas of the country. He said this while visiting Radio Pakistan Quetta Station on Monday.
PID Quetta Chief, Abdul Manan, Sheikh Razzaq of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and other officials also accompanied the Secretary Information.
He said steps have been taken to upgrade programmes of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation to make sure creating awareness among masses.
Issues of PBC employees to be addressed: Secretary Information
The Secretary said issues being faced by employees of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation would be addressed on priority basis.
During his visit , the Station Director Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Quetta, Anis Ur Rehman along with section heads briefed him about their respective wings.
Later, the Secretary Information and Broadcasting also visited studios of Balochi , Pashtoo, Brahvi Hazaragi languages including News and Current Affairs Channel studio.
