The Balochistan High Court (BHC) allowed the agriculture department to recruit 1184 employees. Chief Justice BHC, Mr. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Mr. Justice Amir Rana while announcing the order, said that the recruitment committees will be able to start the recruitment process.
The court also directed the Recruitment Committees to select the candidates strictly on merit without nepotism, favoritism or any political influence.
Many employees to retire this year
Those who have submitted applications for the said posts under February 2019, 26 February 2021 and 9 June 2022 will be considered for age eligibility.
The court was earlier informed by the DG Agriculture Extension that most of the employees of Grade 1 to 14 in DG Agriculture Extension Balochistan are going to retire during this year, while the directorate is still required for these grades.
The court ordered the department to continue the recruitment process
There is an urgent need for recruitment of staff, if further delay in recruitment is not allowed, it will adversely affect the efficiency of the department across the province.
In view of all the circumstances/reasons presented before the Court, the above conditions Disposed off the application by ordering to continue the recruitment process.
