Levies force claimed to have arrested an accused allegedly involved in killing of his sister in the Girdi Jangle Afghan refugee camp of Chaghi district of Balochistan on Saturday.

A news item was surfaced on social media that an unknown girl was killed on account of ‘honor’ killing by the order of Jirga Head namely Ahmad Shah Ishaqzai while the boy allegedly involved in the act was scot free by jirga.

Chagai Levies along with Quick Response Force (QRF) raided various probable locations on tip off of Levies Intelligence wing and arrested a person namely Syed Mohammad s/o Bacha Mama r/o Girdi Jungle who is allegedly involved in the honor killing of his sister.

He is the brother of a girl who was allegedly killed for ‘honor’ killing. The culprit is shifted to Chagai Levies Station for further investigation. Further arrests of accomplices are expected involved in the case.

Ahmad Shah, the tribal elder is still at large and evading arrest, further updates on the case will be shared accordingly, a well-placed officer at the Chaghi levies force said. He requested anonymity since he was not authorized to speak to the media.
