QUETTA: At least two people were killed when the vehicle of a close relative of the federal minister for production, Sardar Israr Tareen was attacked in the Pishin Stop area of Quetta on Monday night.
Police sources said the unknown accused opened fire at the vehicle of Sardar Shehzad Tareen, a close relative of the federal minister. Sardar Shehzad Tareen was also not inside the vehicle.
Two people were killed on the spot. The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. The motive behind the attack could nto be ascertained immediately.
