QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court (BHC) directed to send another notice to the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan in the treason case on Tuesday. A division bench of the BHC comprising Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Mr. Justice Gul Hassan Tareen passed this order.

Senior lawyer, Abdul Razzaq Shar Advocate had filed a petition in the BHC for registration of treason case against the PTI Chief for violating the constitution. The senior lawyer was murdered on June 6 this year in Quetta. The son of the senior lawyer, Sirajuddin Advocate also nominated the PTI chief in the murder case of his father.

The PTI Chief failed to appear before the court despite a notice. The court adjourned the hearing for 2 weeks while ordering the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf to submit an appearance notice by courier.
