MUSAKHAIL: At least two levies personnel were martyred and one suffered injuries when robbers opened fire at the levies party in Balochistan’s Musakhail district on Monday. Levies sources said the martyred levies men conducted a raid in the Rara Sham area of the district.

The robbers who were hiding in the nearby mountains opened fire on the levies, which left two levies personnel dead on the spot and one injured. The martyred levies personnel were identified as Zaman Khan Shamarzai and Khaliq Zaman Shah of Rara Sham.

However, the levies Jumadar Tauqeer Shah was seriously injured in the attack. The dead bodies of the levies personnel were rushed to the Rara Sham hospital where a large number of people reached. The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot.

The levies rushed the injured levies Jumadar to the Dera Ghazi Khan Punjab for medical treatment. Deputy Commissioner Musakhail and other high-ups took serious notice of the incident and directed the levies force to apprehend the culprits behind the attack. Panic prevailed in the area as the two levies men were martyred in broad daylight.

No arrest was made till the filing of this report.
