CHAMAN: A levies man was killed in a firing incident in the Maizai Addah area of the Killa Abdullah district on Sunday evening. Levies sources said unknown miscreants opened fire and killed a levies personnel identified as Abdul Bari in the Maizai Addah area.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. Levies reached the spot and shifted the dead body to the hospital. Local tribesmen blocked the main Quetta-Chaman highway to vent their anger against the incident. They demanded the arrest of the culprits behind the attack.
Security was tightened in the aftermath of the attack.
